Way to get the mid-majors the mid-finger.

That's sensible and I can't believe they didn't add the other 3 play-in games sooner. Anything is better than that 96 team monstrosity.

Expanding to only 68 is probably the best news I've heard this week. The 96 proposal would've started the death watch.

68 is doable, hopefully we never see 96

Considering some of the overly lopside games this year, maybe this is a good idea. However, I can't help but think the mid-majors feel mid-screwed with this.

Changing to 96 wouldn't have made much difference for the smaller conferences. It only would've opened more doors for the .500 and below teams of the power conferences. God knows how many Big East teams would be on the bubble if it ever goes to 96.

We'd still be on the outside looking in.

Are you kidding? It would be almost impossible for a Big East team not to make the tourney . . .

They just should have told the Mountain West to get stuffed when they decided to break away from the WAC. They should have to fight for at large bids like the rest of them.

The thing that cracks me up about the MWC is that most of them were the ones who had the bright idea to expand the WAC in the first place.

And yes, this is good news. Tulsa's sub-regional still has a chance to not suck. :D
