outside the Chargers, the first 10 weeks are not great teams that Sam will be facing

I'm not a Rams fan lol

What are you thinking?

Through the first 10 games, Sam will only be facing 1 team with a winning record this upcoming season. (most likely)

I'm thinking lets wait and see if the Rams keep him or trade him. I like Sam in that division, though.

Aj feely has the rams playing .500 ball early in the season

can't ask for a much easier start to a season with a Rookie qb and a ****ty team

I.P. Freely is saying the same.

Sam will be a good pro QB IF the rams OL doesn't get him seriously injured..

Rams 2010 Schedule

Week 1 – Cardinals at Rams – 4pm
Probably should win, the Cards defense will be good but not great.
Week 2 – Rams at Raiders – 4pm
No reason not to win this one.
Week 3 – Redskins at Rams – 4pm
Shanahan will have the team in better shape, but they are at least another year before they see playoff contention.
Week 4 – Seahawks at Rams – 1pm
Like the Skins, better but they still have a ****ty defense.
Week 5 – Rams at Lions – 1pm
Creampuff.

can't get much easier

Week 6 – Chargers at Rams – 1pm
Perhaps the trap game? Still a wily defense, offense still has Rivers who can light up the Rams D.
Week 7 – Rams at Bucs – 1pm
The Bucs WILL BE BETTER-Defense will be a hallmark of the team this year, offense unknown, I think the offense will still sputter.
Week 8 – Panthers at Rams – 1pm
Have no clue, but Delhomme is gone...thats a plus.
Week 9 – Bye

Week 10 – Rams at 49ers – 4pm
Two things happen, Singletary gets this team better or heads will roll.
Week 11 – Falcons at Rams – 4pm
Should be a fun game to watch, Falcons may be a surprise team to watch this year.
Week 12 – Rams at Broncos – 4pm
Zzzzzzzzzz
Week 13 – Rams at Cardinals – 4pm
See earlier game.
Week 14 – Rams at Saints – 4pm
Road test, toughest game of the year.
Week 15 – Chiefs at Rams – 1pm
Chiefs will be a .500 team, but lose here.
Week 16 – 49ers at Rams – 1pm
2nd look at the Rams, 21-17 Mountain Goats.
Week 17 – Rams at Seahawks – 4pm

Worst case 12-4, Falcons/Saints/49ers look to be the toughest games.
NFC Champ game-Giants-Rams.....Giants win
AFC Champ game-Colts-Steelers...Colts win

Peyton beats lil brudder by 7.

****, damn that crack pipe got hot.:D

NFL isnt college, the bad teams are still good enough to beat you

Yeah, it's a little too early to be chalking up any wins for a team that went 1-15 last year.

JLEW1818

not chalking up for me.

but you can't really ask for an easier first 10 games for a rookie qb. if things work out like that

NFL scheduling at work. If you suck, you get an easier schedule, and vice versa.

not really. at the end of the regular season 14 of your 16 games are already set in stone.

14 of your 16 games are already set in stone for 2011.

the other 2 games, is determined on win/loss record, so yah.

Those 2 games are against other teams in conference who finished in the same position in their divisions, so it is easier. At least in theory.

I don't think Bradford will be starting from Day 1, but that's just a guess.

Well, with Sams progression it is looking better but I think the Rams would probably prefer to wait a few games to keep the pressure off, JMHO

After the way Sammy played against the Pats, I think a lot of Rams fans will be ticked/confused if he doesn't get the start. Personally, I would rather they bench him a while longer, at least for the first couple "real" games, and let him watch and learn a little longer before giving him the reins for good. I'm not surprised to see he's "ahead" in his progression to date, we all know there's a big brain inside that helmet, but I'd like to give the rest of the team, mainly the Oline, some time to settle in and find a groove before Sam has to go out there and depend on them for his health and future. IDK if the Ram fan base or coaching staff has the patience, though, and judging by the other night, it would be hard to blame them for wanting him on the field, he looked like the Slingin' Sam from 2008, and cool as a cucumber as well.
