Just got an Email from My sister in Indy

My 14 year old Greatneice has a benign tumor in her breast. The ultrasound showed it to be 3-4 cm. She has an appt with a surgeon Wednesday. Don't know when surgery will be scheduled, only worried about her having to have surgery. She has been more worried about everyone talking about her little boobie and poking her than anything more serious. It must be nice to be so innocent...ha ha

My kid has something similar (16yo). Her doctor said it was normal for girls going through puberty to experience "lumps" on occasion.

We're paying attention none the less.
