Exactly what do you have in mind?

boycott deep fork and all its properties (the mantle, cafe nova, etc)

They must be selling for a reason. If it is a lack of revenues, boycotting DFG isn't going to save The Blue Note.

they (the blue note) didnt sell.

the people who owned the building leased to the blue note sold. deep fork then sent the blue note a 10 day eviction notice.

Unless Deep Fork specifically bought the building to evict The Blue Note, I don't see the problem with what they did. If the Blue Note is viable, they will pop up somewhere else.

Besides, this is already a done deal. DFG didn't buy the property to keep the Blue Note going. A boycott will do nothing to save The Blue Note.

The sky is blue.

Just waiting to hear LL argue with me on this one since he can't pass up a chance to debate ANYTHING!

Some of the best small shows I've ever seen were in sh*tholes.

the deli is a good time.

has it occurred to you that you're just too picky about where you drink and see some live music?

The Blue Note has a lot of history to it, not sure how the current owners honor that history though. A former boss was a guitarist in the house band there in the 60-70's back when a bunch of the blues artists traveled light and typically played with the house band wherever they played. He brought his photo book in one time and had pictures of him playing all the blues legends, it was pretty interesting.

If the reviews mean anything. It needs to go away.

"Debate" implies the use of sound logic. Using that word gives LL too much credit. ;)
