Personally, I always hated their singer. He reminded me of a EMO kid back before I knew what EMO was. I liked the song temporarily, but hits like that rarely stay cool for long. Then it is uncool to even own it. You know what JR High/High School is.

i was just a youn'n in the 90's, so that's probably why it's still "cool" for kids my age to listen to it...because we didn't hear it play on the radio 18 times a day.

The show was actually a lot of fun. They didn't take themselves too seriously, played a tight set, and seemed to enjoy the whole experience.

Except the "Verge" never sang that song...there was never even a 90's group by that name. Now the "Verve," on the other hand...ripped off a Stones riff in that song and thus got NO proceeds from their one and only hit.
