Just watched it on sooner sports and was just thinking what a well spoken good guy he is. He deserves to do well here and in the NFL. The thing I liked most though was when they ask him about being an upperclassmen he said he was going to lead as best as possible and work to better himself and the team and make the most of HIS LAST 2 YEARS here. That would be awesome to get to keep him the full 4.

I think that is wishful thinking.... if he has the same or better year than last year he will bolt. I hope he doesn't because he is so special to our offense. But, he did get evaluated for the draft this year.

Its not me wishing...its what he said.

Granted...those dollar signs next January may look a little different than they do now headed into the season and very well could change what he is thinking now. Nevertheless as of yesterday he was talking about being here another 2 years and until he says different Im stickin with it.

True true... But, I remember Dom Franks saying the exact same thing after the Sun Bowl.

Very true things seem so different dependent on your surroundings. Big win with the team, excited about the upcoming year, or after the season and thinking in April you could go to practice and class or go to practice and stop by the front office and pick up your check.

Broyles does seem to have taken the right way after the gas station incident. Hopefully his showboating ceases as part of his maturity.

Showboating doesnt excite you?

Some of those showboating calls were nitpicking.

if he has a similiar season, it is wishful thinking. Most athletes say they wanna come back but money talks in the end

In some cases the media has shed light on going early vs. education. Each of us has an opinion, but I do like the fact that players from OU seem to care about comming back for yr. 3 or 4. I guess having a degree + 25 million $$$ signing bonus is better than 90 college credit hours & 32nd round 50th draft pick for a blocking dummy position.

I love Ryan, but this picture is kinda true...

OUCH! not those silly looking uniforms that made us do all of those stupid things! I think NIKE put something in the fabric, because we were a train wreck this game!

Showboating doesnt excite you?

Not when a 40-yard touchdown becomes a 15-yard penalty, it doesn't. He'll have plenty of time to enjoy being a football player in the NFL.

The Tech thing would definitely be an exception to exciting showboating...when your down like that itll only get ya laughed at

Broyles is gone after this year.

There are a couple of scenarios that would keep him hear... 1) He has a down year for some reason or 2) We come close but fall short of a MNC and things are looking up for the following year.

I remember that play, and all I could think to myself was "Thats a whole lot of celebrating for a team thats 6-5."

Hopefully those nike jerseys dont have the same effect this year
