He's talked about it more than once in past gubernatorial races, but he's acting like he really might do it, this time. I believe he is still Arizona's most popular public figure. He's the last of the good AZ politicians that the left hasn't destroyed, although God knows they have tried their damndest, and they still are trying. (County Attorney Andrew Thomas just "retired") Joe Arpaio's MO is to enforce the laws on the books, and to make being a felon in prison something other than a cushy free ride.

I'm not sure he's really qualified to act as governor, but I'll vote for him anyway, unless he runs in the primary against a good neo-conservative.
