It might not be good for Willie but we're better off for it.

If you were a high school senior and wanted to play early, OU would be a great fit for you right now haha.

Believe you are correct! They needed to clean house completely and start over with players that want to play as a team.

If I had to make my decision all over again, I would make the same one to attend OU. It was the best experience of my life and I want to thank all the Sooner fans who were behind me. My ankle is doing great and now it’s time to take the next step.
awwww, try saying anything bad about him now :)

(the quote is from the article I linked above)

I'm not going to miss him, so much as miss what he could have been - as a Sooner. But I'm not going to hate on the kid either. To me, it's like he left after his freshman year, with Blake. I'll remember "the good Willie."

i think TMG will come back if he doesnt sign with an agent, noone has him going high in mock drafts, he'd be a great college player were he to come back, he might get a shot at the NBA after some more college but hes not ready yet

I would like to see him back. He was a very good player IMHO and he was still just a freshman. He has lots of room to grow and get better. I remember when he first came here I heard people say he would be a 4-year starter... :(

ya but hes also VERY selfish & it seemed alot of the team problems came from him not willie like alot of people assumed. if he does come back next year & we have a winning season does he try to leave again? or what? if he doesnt wanna be here i dont want him here.

Good riddance. And good riddance to Capel and the whole basketball program for the next couple of years while it serves out the death penalty....

basketball can be turned around in one recruiting class, lets just hope he can find a few more solid guys to fill those roster spots

Another Europe player

maybe eventually, but he'll get his fair shot at the NBA. dude has NBA skills, it's just a matter of putting everything together...especially in the head.

I see us adding some solid, but not great players, and that sort of being OU basketball for a few years. OK, but just not great.
