I certainly hope Capel sticks around and shows he can recruit and coach the way I think he can. If not then so be it. I'll probably won't like him nearly as much though!

There was once a rumor that Texas was going to try to hire Sherri Coale when Peggy Hill retired after getting beat too many times by Sherri Coale, Skeletor and even that chick from Tech that was retiring on her own.

Instead, Texas hired Gail Shhaaksxxx??? from Duke.

Now, Texas is more inconsistent than ever.

The Tulsa World has learned that Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel has no intention to interview for the vacant position at Clemson today, a development that the Charleston (S.C.) Post and Courier reported could happen.

Also, the Norman Transcript reports Capel was in Norman Friday night hosting a recruit, at the same time some media outlets speculated that an interview with Clemson was imminent.

He is just asking rumors to get started if he won't shoot them down publicly. Think Joe C. will give you a raise like last year if you get mentioned in coaching searches? hahahahahahahahahaNO.
