Garrett Jones on the Pirates lit up Padilla today. Can't believe he was opening day starter for the Dodgers.

Wow, closer for Blue Jays gives up 4 hits and 2 ER's to blow the save against the Rangers. All that after the Jays were putting up a No Hitter going into the 7th. Rangers get 5 runs on 6 hits. Crazay.

Saw the Heyward homer. Connected on a 2-0 sinking fastball to right field. Gotta be the best feeling in the world to hit one out on your first AB in the majors.

grand slam Molina :)

What was great about that is they walked a guy to get to Molina.

Fun seeing Zambrano fall apart once again.

Collier11

never understand walking anyone to get to a contact hitter, Molina is a good hitter

That kid has the chance to be something special.

Good guys win 6-0, Yanquis lost last night...Cubs are being the Cubs today....Royals may beat the Tigres.....just need the Halos to do their thing tonight against the Twinkies and it'll be a good day.

Cubs need a mercy rule.

Man, Jeff Alphabetsoup blows as a pitcher, who drafted him in the NFL? It's about time for his Drew Henson experiment to end.

I'm just glad the Royals Pen is in midseason form.

look at the bright side rf5.

Jeff Smardjadasdfasdljfkasdfja isn't in your pen, otherwise the royals probably give up 17 runs today.

And since he isn't a Brave currently, Dayton Moore won't pick him up when he is discarded. But then again we could always use another right handed reliever with a straight fastball that doesn't get out of the low 90's.

but they did give him like 12 mil since he throws all hard and stuff

and someone gave Drew Henson a lot of money to suck at playing 3rd base.

at least Samardzija can go to any NFL team he wants as he was undrafted (per request).

Collier11
4/6/2010, 03:33 AM
so is he officially out of baseball?

Scott D
4/6/2010, 10:29 AM
no, but at this point you have to wonder how long they can wait for him to develop. He's allegedly got 3 pitches, throws in the upper 90s, and is prone to getting shelled.

tommieharris91
4/6/2010, 02:18 PM
The Cubs can't decide whether he's a starter or reliever. He goes to AAA to start, then gets called up to come out of the bullpen, then gets sent back down to AAA to start again. Throw on the bad draftee contract and you've got a complete mess that is typical of Cubs management.

Scott D
4/6/2010, 04:41 PM
That's why I said his future is in the NFL, because the Cubs will destroy him.

Anyone in OKC know where Cox is showing the Cardinal games?
I've watched a majority of games on Cox for the past 5 or 6 years.
Haven't seen one yet on the Digital Channel Guide.

Anyone know? Last year they would show Cards games on either Cox channel 7 or channel 71. Haven't found any of the first 3 games yet this year.

Thanks for any info.

Collier11
4/9/2010, 01:00 PM
Its not on digital but they are on basic channel 3 as opposed to past years when they were on channel 7

4/9/2010, 01:25 PM
Thanks for the reply. I knew that they had moved the Cox channel from 7 to 3, but even still, none of the first 3 games have been televised on channel 3.

I guess that was my question. Did they decide to stop airing the Cardinal games?

Collier11
4/9/2010, 01:28 PM
Yea, ive watched two of them. They just havent listed them on the tv guide but they were on

yeah he represented the rangers very well in the derby. guess what i was trying to say is this is the year he gets his name up there in the higher ranks when it comes to talking about offensive players.
