Approximately 1978 years ago, the Son of Man, otherwise known as Jesus, was cruelly executed on a hill set aside for executions just outside Jerusalem's city walls.
This day is referred to as "Good Friday," despite the terrible event it recalls, because without Good Friday, there could be no Resurrection. Without the Resurrection, there could be no possibility of Salvation. Without the possibility of Salvation, there is no point to human life.
Have a good Good Friday, and please take a moment or two to consider its significance.
