That's response number one, which I feel works pretty well. It belittles you both for things you can (poor usage) and cannot (poor deductive reasoning) correct, while still maintaining factual accuracy, and even a bit of humor.

But, response number two works fairly well as well, though it's not as... "playful..."

Being off-putting to the ignorant almost guarantees that I won't dilute my genes at some point, (now that I don't really drink anymore) so it's a worth-while trade-off. I guess I'll have to live with knowing that there are more people in the world that find Calvin p*ssing on things funny than people who do not. See "Dysgenics" for more information.
