I hope this guy isn't really that ignorant. Perhaps he was talking about something we don't fully understand the context of? At least I hope so.

Apparantly, (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2010/04/01/congressman-clarifies-island-tipping-comment/?fbid=pMDP4FcTOFe) the capsizing comment was meant to be a joke, using an analogy that an Admiral would understand. It was meant to refer to the fact that the influx of people would overwhelm Guam's ecosystem.

If this is true (that is was a joke) it means:
A. Ol' Hank is the worst joke-teller in the history of the world.
B. See A.

They said Hank has been battling Hepatitis and sometimes it affects his reasoning during talking. If that's true, I do feel sorry for him, but he has no business being a Congressman.

I'd sure like to think that anyone isn't that God-awful stupid, but it's hard to deny on this one.
