They've been called "The Best Cajun Band There is", or something like that. Almost all their songs are either originals, or their own arrangements of traditionals. Michael Doucet is an unbelievable talent. He's 60, now, and still has a fabulous voice. He plays the violin(for pop music) better than anyone I've ever heard. They played for over 2 hrs. If they come to your area, DON'T MISS 'EM!

I can't believe those guys are still around. Weren't they pretty popular back in the 1980s?

My favorite cajun band is File.I just read the Beausoleil Wiki. Their first album was in 1977. They've been recording and performing ever since.
