Running back Chris Brown, who participated at the combine, opted to go through workouts again in order to record better numbers. His best 40-yard dash time was 4.54, while he recorded a 9-foot-10 broad jump and a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump.

Tight end Brody Eldridge also participated at the combine but recorded new numbers in the 40 (4.75) and broad jump (9 feet, 4 inches).

Defensive end Auston English was not at the combine. He ran a 4.76 in the 40 and posted a 35-inch vertical jump.

Receiver Adron Tennell was not at the combine and posted a time of 4.47 in the 40.

It makes me so sad that Auston English is gone. I remember after the 2007 RRS win, Bob was talking about how he was just a sophomore, and he had to tell NFL scouts to stay away--at least for a year. Seems like just yesterday.

Gresham was there also catching passes from Bradford which showecased both of them.

Auston was a force to be reckoned with. Great sophomore career and then the ankle sprain in his junior year and another injury in his senior year. Still predicted to get drafted but nowhere near where he should have been if he would have stayed healthy.
