Golloway is in his 6th season as OU coach and thus far his overall
record is 188-101-1 for a 64.8 winning percentage.

As far as all time coaches go, that places him 4th all time or 3rd if you put in a 100 game minimum of games coached. He is 12 wins from being the 4th OU coach in history with 200+ wins and thus far he has led us to the Ncaa tourney in 4 of his first 5 years with this season likely making it 5 out of 6

With the way this season has started, I have to think that anything less than a Super Regional would be a disappointment but I wouldnt mind making a run at Omaha...just sayin

Sunny is a dedicated technician of the game of baseball. He has an innate ability to coach and teach the game to young men to where they comprehend and put it into action. He is a great coach that will continue to represent the university with class and distinction in the years to come.

I didn't know Sunny's mama posted on this board.

My biggest disappointment/s this year were:

The sweep by whorn.
Not sweeping a single conference series.

True but we have won 6 of 8 conference series (counting the Baylor series which the last 2 games were canceled).

Yeah, but there's no reason in the world why shouldn't have swept the Stoolwater aglets. That's the one that torques my ***.

He is now 205-111 at OU

True though, we needed to sweep OSU and we needed to not get swept by ut at home. There have been too many series this season that we shoulda swept and we didnt show up

Well, we ended the season on a high note and finally got a sweep. On the road, no less.

OU has done a solid job every season he has been here. The fact that he has not been sucessful against UT bugs me BUT reality shows not too many teams do beat the Orange Cows.I just hope this season marks the turning point against T.Boones State.I have never understood the Sunny haters, wonder where they are now?

Well he is quite the prick by most accounts so when you are struggling people use that against you. He had two sub par yrs, even though he made the tourney both years the overall record wasnt great. It seems that he has got the recruiting and the winning cranked up though

Who was it last year that made sure that every one of their posts was at least in some way anti-Sunny?

The "Sunny Galloway must go" thread is still the third-highest listing on a "Sunny Galloway" Google search, right behind is SS.com page and the page talking about his daughter posing as an OSU Playboy

The legendary thread is here. (http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60757)

The guy just led OU to its second regional title in four years. That must have been a heck of game (which unfortunately couldn't be heard on 1520AM this year....) tonight.

Golloway now 218-114 for a 65.6% winning percentage with 2 super regionals in 5 full seasons and hopefully his 1st CWS appearance coming soon.

I appreciate the fact that our team lasted longer than any team in our (possibly collapsing) conference. Thanks, Sunny and Sooner baseball!

It is nice to gloat at Texas and A&M and other alleged baseball schools :D

Golloway is now 220-115. He has been to the regional final each year, 2 Super regionals, and 1 CWS

He's doing very well. Not the best coach out there, but he's damn good and as long as his players like him and his nose is clean I'm happy!

I say this season bought him a lot of time.

Great season, after losing 9 players to the draft last season no one thought we would make it to the CWS this year

If he can get all/most of these guys back next year, and maybe pick up a strong arm or two this will be one hell of a team to watch next year.

And cut Buechele's ****ing mullet off. I think it brought him bad joo joo.

If Boosh is back and we dont have any surprising defections, this will be a legit top 5 team next year

With 2 outs and a runner on 2nd, I think that Galloway should have walked Bradley Junior (who eventually hit in the tying run). And by my understanding, Galloway had been hitting well lately too.

That would have made it 2 outs with a force at every bag.

Oh well. Good season.

I hated losing tonite because we made about 3 big mistakes in the game and had two bad calls yet still came up just one play away from extending the season.FWIW I thought we would be doing good just to make the NCAA torney after losing so much talent from last year.
