"After riding to fame on McCain's coattails, Palin is now trying to save the four-term Ariz. senator's political life by putting her prestige on the line in effort to help him overcome his toughest re-election challenge ever."

I was not aware that Sarah Palin had an prestige to speak of. Actually, there's so much delusion in that blurb I don't even know where to start.

Evidently they realized how stupid it was; they already changed it.

I'd still do her.

What did they change it to?
Because she is putting any conservative street cred she has left on the line.
She supported Perry in Texas (governor gardasil).
This is were the Tea Party activists are likely to fall short, ie thinking that electing decepticon republicans will solve anything.

Yeah, I think it's pretty funny that you don't know what the word means. Along with a lot of other words I suspect.

This. Biden is, I think, something of a joke even among the Dems. He just has a lot of seniority and workin' man cred. Dude's a shameless plagiarizer, too, which is uncool.

After the "big f'-in' deal" comment I'm thinking Biden may be starting to get early dementia. If you're the VP of the USA and you're that uninhibited/have that weak of a thought/speech filter then something isn't right upstairs. I'm serious.

The Republicans have made those guys presidential candidates over the years trotting Dole out there against Clinton and McCain against Obama, both were well past their shelf life in terms of presidential runs.

Can't argue with that. At least Reagan waited till the end of his second term to start slippin'.

Except two things....

1. I was in Hawaii in 1989, not Detroit. Didn't arrive up here until 95.

2. In 89 I was 17, which was of legal age in Hawaii, so you can tell Palin to quit paging me 21 years later.

Who'd you rather? Pelosi or Palin?

Now with that out of the way, I'm of the opinion that the left and its apparatchiks, partisan pundits and shills in the media wouldn't be so hard on Palin if they were not somehow afraid of her. Is she the smartest woman in the US? Nope. But she sure can connect with the folks in the fly-over states.

Afraid? Of Sarah Palin? For what possible reason? I don't like her, dislike her or anything else. I don't think of her at all unless someone brings her up. Afraid of her? Wow.

And here I thought you couldn't possibly do drugs. I apologize for assuming.

Egad.

I keep seeing this posited, this "they're afraid of Palin" argument. I can't say whether the media is afraid of Palin.

But I tell ya, I'm afraid of her. I afraid that she's the product that the GOP is going to put up against Brack in 2012, virtually assuring Dear Leader another glorious four years enhancing and enriching the republic for the common good. I really hope she's just a distraction for the real candidate waiting in the wing.

She won't run. However, the left does not attach so relentlessly unless they are scared. Bush was not attached to the degree Palin is, and that says a great deal.
I believe her role will be motivating the conservative base. Which, as I said earlier is hindered by her supporting McCain and Perry.

Why does it always come down to who'd you rather, Palin or Pelosi? That's not even fair.

Why not Palin or Dennis Kucinich's wife? That's a real contest.
