Florida had two chances to win it by holding for the last shot at the end of regulation and then at the end of the first overtime. I think I saw a player from Florida go down with an injury in the second overtime. Might have been the difference at the end, not sure.

What I am sure of was that this was Florida's game to lose at crunch time. Twice.

Somebody remind the refs that Baylor isn't a real Big 12 team. They are a Cinderella in every essence of the word. They are a bigger Cinderella than Gonzaga ever was. They are an underdog that just happens to have a high seed.

Therefore, no need to wait till the NCAA pages you to let the upper seed win after a few intriguing minutes of ball. Just give them the game now. It's Baylor, for cripes sake.

Northern Iowa 69, #1 KU....67! I have not yelled for a purple team in basketball before. I don't like KU because they get a pass to the Big XII regular season championship most years because they don't have home and home with Big XII South teams UT, Tech, Baylor, A&M, OU and OSU, which generally sends four or five teams to the NCAA tournament each year and would add three losses per season to KU's conference record. Big XII South teams beat up on each other and Kansas hopscotches into the championship in regular season. Plus it hacks me off that Xavier Henry does not have guts enough to do a Tisdale/Griffin and take the state's premier University to the next level. I don't care if his parents went to Kansas the last millennium.

Can't say I was too impressed with how he ended his OSU career, but I know that the NBA doesn't look at that necessarily. I'm sure he'll get drafted and make an NBA roster. Whether he stays on the NBA roster or goes the route of JamesOn Curry? Not sure.
