It's scary that I agree with you. My solid Anglo-Saxon ancestry has a hard time getting into St. Patty's day.

I work with a British guy from London (who often comes to our tailgates). We were at the gym and I go "so, what are you going to do for St. Paddy's day?" He kind of looked at me funny and goes "Sherry and I aren't religious and we don't celebrate the day." I go "religious?" I've never once, EVER thought of getting all ****faced, commode hugging drunk a religious deal. But I guess there is that Mardi Gras thing...

Catholics are weird.

Anyhow, he goes "we'll probably just do what we've been doing the past several nights. Sit on the porch by the fire, grill steaks, and drink lots of Budweiser." I go "Happy St. Paddy's day then."
