Former Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy joined the show to discuss the upcoming NFL draft.
Dan asked McCoy if he could sack one QB, who would it be. "King Sam," McCoy said, referring to Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford. McCoy said he once rubbed Bradford's arm by accident and the coaching staff was all over him.
McCoy said he wouldn't mind if Bradford was No. 1 overall. And he wouldn't mind if Ndamukong Suh was the top pick.
"Me and Ndamukong have a pretty good relationship. We're pretty good friends," McCoy said.
McCoy talked about the weirdest question he got during the combine. One team asked if he wore a jock strap or a G-string.
McCoy also addressed doing only 23 reps on the bench in Indy. He said he usually does more, but he hit a wall at 23.
"I work harder than anybody you can find," McCoy said. "And bench press just isn't my strongest suit."
"I'm the nicest guy you'll find off the field ... but as soon as I come out of the tunnel, I change," McCoy said.
Dan asked McCoy why a team should take him at No. 1 overall. McCoy said he's going to give everything he has. He's going to study. And he's going to produce.
Dan asked McCoy why he's better than Suh. "I'm a little bit more of a speedy guy, and a pass-rusher," McCoy said.
