would there be anyone on your list who wasn't from OU, UT or NU?

Off the top of my head, you would have to have Bradford, White, Mccoy, Suh, Roy Williams, Tommie Harris, Vince Young, AD, Derrick Williams, Eric Crouch (he won the Heisman, gotta have him in there) so no probably :D

I was wondering about other schools as well and for considerations I would say...

Wallace (ISU), Sproles (KSU), Macklin (MU), Welker (TTU), McQuarters (OSU), Sepulveda (BAY), Nguyen (A&M)....but I don't think any of them are even Top 20. Maybe Sproles because he was a fast fckr but no one else really stands out.

and ranking them would be tough, you could go Vince #1 because of one amazing season and two good seasons or Jason or Sam with 2+ really really good seasons but no title

i'd put chase daniel ahead of smith...daniel brought mizzou to new heights during his run there and owns pretty much every school record.

Crabtree def yes, none of the others for top 10 except maybe Bishop or Smith IMO

Granted, one of them was in the last season of the Big 8, but Troy Davis had 2 2,000 yard seasons @ ISU.

see I didnt remember if Nguyen was big 12 or big 8...no punter or kicker is top 10 in conf history, not even close

I can see going with Rashaun Woods and Michael Crabtree as the two receivers.

My top ten:

Roy Williams (from OU)
Tommie Harris
Vince Young
Ricky Williams (from UT)
Michael Crabtree
Ngdomikong Suh (the one from Nebraska)
Sam Bradford
Jason White
Derrick Johnson
Jamal Brown

On a related note, you know what's sad...?

Best NFL QBs from Big XII...

Vince Young
Seneca Wallace
Chris Simms
Koy Detmer (he was 96-, right)?
uh...

Josh Freeman?
Nate Hybl?
Stephen McGee?
Chase Daniel?
Michael Bishop?

are there even 10 guys that made NFL rosters as QBs?

I know the conference is only 14 seasons old, but isn't VY a clear-cut number one? Wasn't he even a clear cut #1 before he had his resurgence this year? Isn't that ****ing pathetic?

I do realize that the fact that Nebraska wasn't rolling out NFL QBs for the first 5 years didn't really impact their success. Other programs don't/haven't run NFL-friendly offenses.
