I love GK. Seriously, might be one of my favorite players ever at OU. I know I'm young, but every time I'm out around town and see him, he never hesitates to walk around to fans and shake hands, and even start conversations. Seriously, can't say enough about this guy. Great role model.

That story reminds me of a certain hit at a spring practice a few years ago - Rufus Alexander leveled Joe Jon Finley --- didn't even really seem to touch him, Joe Jon just ran right at him while Rufus met him standing... and Joe Jon fell over onto him back. Greatest hit ever... if it wasn't against one of our own guys.

The entire crowd went Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu half-heartedly, while murmuring "same team, Rufus!" remarks. Upon returning to the sidelines, Rufus said "We have some defense fans out today!"

I agree!! We saw him a couple times last fall when we were in Norman, and he's friendly and accessible.

I think he's a Junior, so maybe that's why he's GK, to differentiate him from Sr. Just a guess.
