He is the best player in the league and it would be a shame if he didnt win POY, anyone disagree?

22.5ppg 6.1rpg, if he wasnt on the team osu would be dreadful

He's the only reason they're in postseason contention... if they don't make it, maybe he shouldn't be POY. Stats are nice and all, but winning is better.

that mock draft is horrible...new jersey doesn't need a pg and the mock has new jersey taking john wall pg in the first round and collins pg in the 2nd. I wonder if they consider team needs before they make it or just go best available? I'll definitely agree John wall is best available but that doesn't mean if new jersey gets the #1 pick they'll take him. I think they take demarcus cousins to play pf next to lopez a c and leave harris at pg. and maybe draft collins in the 2nd round to be harris back up but they don't take wall #1.

well Minnesota did take like 3 pgs last year, lol

Regardless of need, I highly doubt anybody would pass on Wall for Cousins.

Well...outside of Minnesota I guess. I think they got plenty last year.

You undershot and it's still funny. They picked Rubio, Flynn, Lawson, and Calathes.

Yeah I agree - he is way better than Collins, heck I think KSU's guards are better than Collins though, but Anderson is the POY no matter who gets voted it.

Anderson is a stud

James is a stud...he was projected as a late 1st rounder before this season and has moved up to a potential lottery pick. Would be nice of the thunder could get him with one of their 2 first round picks but I don't see him falling that far. He is though IMO POY for the Big XII

He def should be

If he's not player of the year in the Big 12 this year then Blake Griffin shouldn't have been player of the year in the Big 12 last year. Next year's OSU team without him will be worse than we are without Blake.

Anderson=Mason=Graham=Curry=insert above average OSU guard here

Stud in Big XII...not in the NBA. A similar list could be made for Sooners too...

Only one on that list that surprised me by his lack o' success in the Association is/was Joey.

I think Anderson has a chance to make it, with a starting role player as his ceiling.

Ok, they definitely dont need 2 but Minnesota pulled the same thing last year so you never know. And who is to say New Jersey doesn't need a PG? Just because they have Harris doesnt mean they are set with him. They may look to move him cause i know i would rather have John Wall than Devin Harris anyday.

If OSU makes it to the NCAA Tourney, and go atleast to the Sweet 16, then no reason why he doesnt get POY, but if they dont, unfortunately he won't. Even though i think he deserves it too!

I looked into it, they go by best available, not team need

They wouldn't let me start a new thread but I fully expect TMG to be as good as James by the team he's a senior. That kid is good.

James is special and is definitely going to be missed next year.
