at my best:
-265 bench
-37" vertical
-sub 5 minute mile
-masters degree

current:
-able to move bench if motivated
-can still grab bottom of net
-can walk 18 holes in under 4 hours
-can color inside the lines

A lot of guys will give their size as if it's comparable -- my buddy likes to compare himself to NFL corners, he's 5'9" 200. Well, there's a difference between 200 pounds of fast-twitch muscle fiber and 200 pounds of fat mortgage lender.

I'd like to know people's body fat %. that would make the guy saying he's 6'2" 250 a little less impressive when we know he's 25% fat.

also, i've learned over the years to automatically filter the answer any time a guy tells you his bench press max, dick size, or vertical jump. you can normally take 20+ pounds off his bench answer, 2-3 inches off his pecker size, and about a foot off the vertical.

oh, also how many women they've slept with. if they tell you it's 40, it's probably 20.

For kicks, I guessed on every question and still beat Vince Young.

6'1" 235.....overweight Army Veteran that has some heart....but like Rudy would never make All-American.

Just watched some Chinese chick fall over backwards on womes aerials so I got that going for me.

6-3 195 lbs receiver

Right now could probably run about a 5.2 40 (really did once run a 4.57), my vertical is prolly like 20 inches, and I have been lifting some so I can bench a whopping 235.

edit...I can still dunk a B-ball, but damn it takes a long time to get loose enough to do it these days. :(

When I was in HS before I hurt my arm I could throw a football 60yds, last time I tried I threw it 48yds

Coaching football two years ago I could still throw it 50 (pretty good air under it :D ). I haven't thrown a football since then though.

...and no, I don't miss coaching football one tiny bit, what a grind.

Collier11

I'm 6'6 and 230, but I've never circumsised any orphans, so I'm clearly not qualified to be a quarterback.

Ideal for reliable retrieval of kicking tee after kickoffs. Versatile enough to also ensure consistent availablity of gatorade and to handle sweaty clothing and equipment left on field or locker-room floor.

The key to the Wonderlic seems to be much like the ACT - you randomly guess at the ones you don't know, but make sure you get to the ones you have a chance of getting right.

But, no spending extra time on any question, hence skipping the tough ones. You only get 12 minutes for 50 questions, after all. They must know that football players don't wanna take a big long exam. What are they, college students?! :D

6'2" - 315 lbs (very high body fat % so no it is not impressive )
probably runnin in the very high 5's right now
could probably get 1-2 reps on the bench

btw does anybody know how to solve that 48000 word question i'd like to know

I have to post different numbers...one for my playing days, and one for now, as I'd be playing VERY different positions. :)

1993/4:

6'3" 155 lbs.
4.55 40-yd dash
Don't remember the other stats. I could jump pretty high and far, have long arms and large hands, decently coordinated. I could bench a few strands of straw a bunch of times. Obviously I was a WR at that weight, but I also played some free safety and corner.

2010:
6'3" 285 lbs.
Um...probably could hit 5.2 in the 40 if I were chasing a giant jelly donut.
I'm significantly stronger than I used to be now that I can throw some weight around. The only position I play now is the one where I have a remote control in my hand.

CaliBornSoonerBred
2/25/2010, 03:14 PM
6'6" 245lbs
TE DE or LB in a 3-4 scheme

Solid hands, good route runner.
Hard hitter with good instincts.
Lateral speed hasn't been tested much since I blew out my knee completely but straight ahead speed is good for a big man.

This one?

13. Three individuals form a partnership and agree to divide the profits equally. X invests $9,000, Y invests $7,000, Z invests $4,000. If the profits are $4,800, how much less does X receive than if the profits were divided in proportion to the amount invested?

x+y=z=20,000
4,800/3=1,600
x=45% of 20,000.
45% of 4800= 2160
2160-1600=560.

6'3" 209
QB/WR
Vertical used to be 39" but is probably more like 32-34" now. I can throw it about 60 yards in the air...not rope.
forty 4.5 when I played college bball a few years ago and I still play all the time, but my forty is probably more like a 4.7 these days.
Bench was 280 and there is no way I could get that right now. I haven't done bench in a while I usually do a mix of free weights and machine when I lift and I do the bench machine which only goes up to 250 so I have no idea. I can get 250 on the machine but I seriously doubt I could get 250 on free weight bench.
