Not sure how many people onthis board are currently in high school...

Scott Dawson, circa late 1970's, is from Shawnee. Not sure how many other Wolves played for OU.

Didn't our Tigers also have a deep snapper who played for OU? And wasn't said deep snapper the guy who blew the snap in the 6-6 tie against Texas in '76?

AHA! According to SoonerStats it was Kevin Craig.

Well, since you ask: Oklahoma City Southeast.

Gerald McCoy - Don't know if his mom and dad even knew each other back when I graduated, though.

A dude named Killingsworth back in the 60's. I think he was a WR.

Ardmore also had Tony DiRienzo.

Man - I can't believe I forgot both Tony D and Kevin Craig.

I guess it's because they're older than me. Tony was an exchange student from Brazil. Kevin Craig was originally one of the team managers, I think, at OU before I got there. I should also remember him because I was there in '76 when he had his one memorable high snap on Uwe's potential game-winning XP.

Just found this:

Norman North's Chika Madu signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Blinn Junior College in Brennan, Tx. Seated: Chika Madu Standing, L-R: Head Coach Lance Manning, Principal Jerry Winkle, Ellen Garcia, Mossis Madu, Rudy Garcia

Maybe it was grades.
