Well I was pretty drunk after getting home from Mardi Gras but I do remember one who's face oddly resembled my foot. But that one girl was yummy. I didn't mind us losing to her and watching her doing a group hug with her pals.

Nope. It's caused by the incomplete fusion of the left and right halves of the jaw, so the shape (dot or line) depends on the shape of the bone fissure below. Same cause = same name.
Technically they're all dimples, but because dimples can occur elsewhere, it's more specific to call one on the chin a "cleft chin".
