Shannon Brown and JASON KAPONO!

It would increase the odds of me watching these exhibitions 1000% if they would keep the same lineups, but switch the contests. I'd LOVE to watch Gerald Wallace need 100 shots to hit 20 from the arc. I'd LOVE to see Jason Kapono's "hops" come into play.

- Shannon Brown
- Kapono

Yeah, I'm pickin' the white guys... :D Wait, what? (Okay, I'm not. But I did play CoD against a kid whose tag was BrntBrry4evr last night. Okay, I made that up too. But that's when the dunk contest really jumped the shark...)

3point shootout

Mike Bibby (Hawks)
Daequan Cook (Heat)
Danny Granger (Pacers)
Jason Kapono (Raptors)
Rashard Lewis (Magic)
Roger Mason (Spurs)

Why am I seeing Billups, Cook, Curry, Frye, Gallinari, and Pierce instead of the guys you listed?

I'm pretty sure you listed last year's lineup, so I would like to change my pick. I doubt Kapono will win, seeing as he isn't even in it.

I'm going to have to go with Dell's son.

This H-O-R-S-E thing is awful to watch.

I remember when I used to know the names of NBA players.

Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden. There's the first 3 names you need to know.

This H-O-R-S-E thing is awful to watch.

Maybe they need to change it to C-A-T or D-O-G or O-X or if they really want to torture people name it R-H-I-N-O-C-E-R-O-S.

that was a weak dunk contest from what i saw, i was switching back and forth to the olympics but saw most the dunks. not impressed, i think the dunk contest has jumped the shark out of inability to find new things to do. dwight howard didnt even dunk it when he won he just threw it in and nate robinson just wins because hes short.

charles barkley was funny though

I got so excited waiting for this that I fell asleep. Nate Robinson won the dunk contest, though, so I bet I didn't miss much. I'm still bitter about him absolutely robbing Iggy a few years ago despite missing like 14 dunks. That dunk shouldn't have won even if he got it the first try.

You should sue the NBA IMO.

Barkley was in rare form last night. That made the show.

"Hey, you ever notice that Gatorade doesn't work for people that suck?"

"All I know is that the one who used to do my homework was pretty smart"

the dunk contest was plain rotten. several years back these guys couldnt even of made the field of dunkers. where are the real dunkers?? vince carter is getting up in age but he would murder these guys.....where is kobe? labron?? where is the field of dunkers?? there are now like 4 guys and thats it.
anyone old enough to remember during the game of the week they used to have a 1 on 1 contest back in the 70s?? lets bring that back.

...but Nate Robinson is the best ever! He won three dunk contests!

In all seriousness, this lineup looked pathetic before it ever started. I'm pretty sure Gerald Wallace starts, but do any of the others? These were a bunch of no-names. Lebron messed us over by not showing up like he said he would. Not one of these dunkers excited me. Which is why I feel asleep.

garbage

He was barely even on the Lakers roster last year. He's shown he is an important role player, but I kinda laughed when I heard he was in the dunk contest.

in the regular season the dude could dunk hardcore! yah he hardly even plays for the Lakers tho.

I was disappointed to not see him try better dunks. His vertical is over 44 inches.

Okay, so I finally found a video and watched it. Shannon Brown was absolute garbage. He looked like Candace Parker out there.

Wallace was myeh.

Robinson was just short. We get it, he can dunk the ball. Now stop handing him dunk contest trophies.

Derozan actually did really well, and got robbed by the midget. He would've been a solid dunk contest winner.

Nate has been given the trophy twice now, Derozan and Iguadola were both better than him
