can you drink more and more and more of and never get tired of it? I guess you can say this would be your favorite but in my case it's not my favorite but I can drink it continuously and never get tired of it....

SOL Cerveza!!!!! F*** You Corona!

idk, i can drink the **** out of Corona... as long as the limes are still coming.

I really do prefer Budweiser for price/percent alcohol. I'm usually in texas, so its 5%. not too bad. adds up when you get to your later beers.

I've drinking beer many times in Oklahoma obviously, i can't really tell a huge difference in taste.

The thing with Budweiser, I've noticed i started to get full after about 9 of them. Bud Light just makes me pee.

But if Bud Light was the only beer i could drink for the rest of my life. I'd be fine with that.

SteelClip49
2/10/2010, 04:18 PM
I am wondering if Bud Light will soon become the new Natty Light.

I don't drink as much so I can tell the difference between 3.2 and 5 point. 3.2 beer really just sucks. It tastes like water with powdered beer packets poured in. YUCK!!!

2/10/2010, 04:21 PM
There really isn't that much of a difference between Oklahoma beer and Texas beer. They're measured differently, so when you convert it, Texas beer has like .6% more alcohol by volume. And really, if you're drinking watered-down domestic crap anyway, it doesn't matter.

I agree. OK's beer is 3.2% alcohol and TX's beer is something like 4.6%. It's not as big a deal as people make it out to be.

JLEW1818

yah. as far as texas beer.

Bud light, Miller, Coors, all 4.2
Budweiser 5.0

I could drink Bud Light for ever. As far as Messican beers, I like Pacifico but I think I would get sick of the lime after a while. Fuller beers like Sam Adams would make you just that...full.

i was in a place last night that had the Alaska beer Froz mentioned. i tend to drink the Avery beers since they are local (Boulder) and i know one of the brewmasters so 1. i get some sixers for free and 2. it's always on sale around here.

Stone and Dogfish Head are the beers i drink when i want to get spendy. Dogfish Head is some crazy stuff. raison d'etre is like a single malt or something, so much fermentation.

You guys and your micro breweries. Meh.

I'm old enough to remember when Fat Tire first came out. We were skiing up in Telluride (or it could have been Beaver Creek I forget). Anyhow, they had some guys who were selling Fat Tire Ale out of a bucket. It just had a picture of a mountain bike with fat tires on the label. This was also the time mountain biking was first becoming popular. I really can't remember the year, but it had to be maybe mid-1980's? I know it's brewed now by New Belgium, but I don't think it was then.

Anyhow, if I gotta just have one beer, it'd be Fischer D'Alsace (yes, the surrender monkey french do make good beers/wines/food) or maybe just a Guinness Stout or a black & tan with Guinness and Harp.

Mich ultra is good when it's hotter than hell out and you don't wanna feel like a slug.

Which brings up my main point of contention with beer drinking. Don't get me wrong, I like beer. My problem is it's too damn filling. I get full before I get buzzed. I used to be able to drink close to a case of beer no problem. Sometimes my brother and I would bring 4 cases to the lake for a weekend, and end up having to buy another case or 2 on Sunday afternoon at the stupidly high lake prices.

Nowadays, every so often - maybe once every few months - I enjoy a few Guinness' or B & Ts. Sometimes a couple Bass Ales, or a Pacifico or Dos Equis or 3. I always feel like I ate supper or something. It's like eating beer.
