It's enough to make a girl paranoid. I usually look good in black, great at hiding those pesky extra lbs., but I WANT MY CRIMSON BACK!!!!!!! I tried messin around in my CP, but I don't know how to fix it. Anyone know how?

I may be blond, but I'm not a COMPLETE idiot.

I did NOT click on my name--I did change my sig. I did NOT do anything that I haven't done in here before, it's never turned my name black.

When I changed my sig, the font color selector was screwed up--as it is now on this reply box. So I just had to click at random til I got the color I wanted for my sig line, maybe I screwed it up there somehow.

Maybe next time I reboot it will fix itself. For now, I'll try to control my evilness. ;)

So you went to your profile screen to change. Which is the page hyperlinked by your username. Hence your browser changes the color of the link to indicate it goes to a page in your history. You may be able to change it back by clearing your cookies and deleting your browsing history.

Based on the fact that your username appears red to me, my thought is that there is something in your browsing history that tells your browser you've already navigated to the page hyperlinked by the name. Clearing your browsing history and cache should fix that if it's really important to get your username crimson again, and there's probably settings in whatever browser you're using to change the color of a "navigated to" link to whatever color you want.

3) Click on System Restore
4) Hit Restore my computer to an earlier time
5) Hit "NEXT"
6) pick a date on the calendar when your black was crimson
7) Hit "NEXT" again and then once again
...Wait until your computer has restored itself

Your name is a link to your profile. If you visit your USER CP (even without clicking on your name) it will change the color of the text for that link, because you have visited your profile.
