When Coach Stoops says that we can put a track relay team together with the speed we got coming in.

Lets hope it is legit speed and not reggie smith runs a 4.5 speed

And let's also hope that, unlike texass, oregone, and tennessee, our guys didn't get so fast running from the law carrying computers and ****.

Or any team in the SEC. Vanderbilt would probably smoke us.

Smoke us? Not even close.... they would run to the store, buy a lighter, and bring it back to us to light our cigarette before we even got the pack out of our pockets! They're that much faster than us!

Reggie was plenty fast enough where it counted, on the field.

List Stoops' corners who were drafted higher than he was. I can think of two; Woolfolk and Bartee (if you even want to count him?).

If we signed 4 DBs as good as Reggie Smith, we did well.

Im not saying he wasnt really good, the guy was 1st team all conf, im just saying that his speed likely hurt us at times. Woolfolk was a legit 4.4-4.5 guy, reggie ran a 4.7 I think. Field speed is diff, I understand but I seem to remember alot of OU fans griping about his play at times

Yep, ran 4.65 by some accounts at the Pro Day. Didn't sprint well, but was great on the cones and shuttle. Usually ran in the high 4.5s (40) when they tested at OU.

Was a good punt returner. But I'd be hard pressed to hear gripes about his play at DB.

Looks like a great class, anxious to see how the new Oline guys shake out, hopefully they'll all stay out of casts.
