I read that... Any idea what it was? Diabetes?

New him when he was the sandwich maker at the family grocery across from the lamb chop house (Lambda Chi) near campus. Made great chili and sausage.

that's too bad. as HA says, not only the Diner but Amspacher's on Lindsey was where my dad and i went every gameday (1975-1986, ~) to buy a hot turkey/pastrami sammie with awesome hot mustard and my dad would buy and drink a magical thing called beer out of the cattle troughs in the front of the store....

and the Diner=the Diner. hobo breakfast.

RIP Mark.

True, most people do not remember Amspacher's on Lindsey but that is where I first met Mark...

Was Amspacher's in the same place where JJs Pizza is now? I remember it, I just can't place it.

Anyhow, bummer.

Went to McKinlely Elementary with his daughter Peaches way back in the day. Thoughts go out to them.

btw, loved the jerky at Amspacher's

I used to go to 'spach's back in the day on my bmx bike. One time Switzer came in and ordered a ridiculous amount of his chili while I was hanging out.

Wow. I believe thats the same guy I just watched a couple of months ago with Guy on the food network. I took notes from his famous chili recipe and incorporated it into my own. It rawks! How sad. :(

Prayers to the Amspacher family & friends. I'm sorry to hear of this loss.

I lost my bestest girlfriend on Monday, there in Norman as well. She was the same age.

Worst damn Monday of my life.

RIP Mark....
