I want a receiver that will mainly run my living room tv and speakers. (2 tower speakers, not the right setup/need for surround). I would also like to, at the same time play music outside by the pool. If I could hook up a computer to the part going outside and control it from my iPhone with that app, I would be a very happy camper.

Any ideas? Wild like to stay arond $500-$600.

Is this a candidate?

you seem to be overshooting a bit if you don't need surround...

yeah, I guess surround could be in the
cards down the road, so I guess I should try and stay future safe?

Yeah, I like that site, I just got that one recommended by someone. I'm a bug fan of shopping around for a better price.

Awesome sound, about as future-proof as it gets right now, should do the techy stuff you're wanting, good quality at the top of our price quote.

You'd be surprised how much fun it is to tinker with a receiver that does more than you need. I overbought on mine a bit (something a little older but very similar to above) for what I needed but now wouldn't want anything less after finding out how awesome it sounds/what it can do.

Love the Yamaha RXV series. Good recommendation. I also like the Denon CI series.

Good condition, just a small scratch on the serial number.

So I'm guessing that's a pretty good deal. I do like the three zone capability.
