Disaster Shopping List 2010:

I am about trudge out into the bad weather and to the store. I know I should have done this yesterday but I went to the Thunder Game instead!

I need to procure these items: at least 6 D Cell Batteries, 1 Gallon of Milk, 4 Tins of Chili, 1 Box of Saltine Crackers, 2 Loaves of Bread, Package of Bologna, 1 Package of Salami, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal, Strawberry Awake Cereal, Raisin Bran Cereal, 1 Package of Oatmeal Cookies, 2 or 3 Gallons of Water, 12 Pack of Fresca, 3 Onions, 1 Tin of Spam, 2 Tins of Sardines and 1 Box of Delicious Triscuit Crackers. Hope all of that is still available! Wish me luck and everyone stay safe!

there's a recall on a lot of salami. be careful. though, in a disaster situ that's a good buy. lasts even without refrigeration (it's intended original purpose). apples too. peanut butter is always a good buy for the doomsday. water over milk, you might have to hike out when the aliens come.

hershey bars. you are spending way too much on packaged items for doomsday.

see, that's different. that's holed up in a highway motel for 2 days with an outdoor ice machine. not necessarily disaster in an exogenous sense, like dirty bombs or anthrax.....more about personal choices which are open to interpretation before and after the fact.
