I thought they had to be the worst idea ever. But I have tried some, and they're pretty dang good, about as good I can make with Bisquick. I'd still rather make 'em myself, but in a pinch, those microwaved deals are OK.

NOTE: This is not a copycat thread title. :D

I've tried the Eggo ones and they aren't horrible. They taste a little rubbery but are good when you don't have much time in the mornings.

Funny you should mention this, I was just wondering the same thing myself the other day but I haven't tried it yet.

microwavable pancakes are an epic failure. Waffles laugh at them.

I'm not gonna say they are the worst idea ever, but there is a good argument that they are the LAZIEST idea ever.

I like McDonalds pancakes far better than made from scratch at home.

It's not....sort of. Dean implied it in SJS's thread asking Cru bizarre personal questions.

Still a rather long delayed question!

I know exactly what you want to ask. The answer is, yes, I was the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll.

But you can't know that yet since you haven't invented your time machine.

Kinda hard to argue with that. Even lazier than toaster waffles 'cuz they take even less time.

I was jusst thinking, it's been a really long time since I had a homemade pancake from scratch and not from a box of mix. My Grandfather (God bless his kind and generous soul) used to make them from scratch when I was a little kid. Cooked 'em on a cast iron griddle if I recall. I still remember the look and smell and taste of those cakes. I've had some good pancakes since then, but none quite the same or quite as good.

I probably eat 1 pancake every 2-3 years. Maybe.

Breakfast is for animal by-products. Not doughy sugary ****.
