I def think top 10....even with his warts. NBA teammates and coaches will cure him of that real quick....

We have had a lot of players over the years, that didn't make the NBA, I would take over WW. You never know which WW is going to show up.

WW might be a better NBA player than he is a college player. I'm not up with who the top Euro or Asian prospects are but there aren't many college players I've seen with more raw ability.

THAT's what makes it frustrating when it appears he is coasting on the court. In those 3-4 minutes stretches when he turns it up he can own a game.

Yeah, Warren's probably still considered a lottery pick. That's why some teams have lottery picks every year.

I agree with this, he has a ton of talent, but I don't think he is ready....End up being mediocre because his head will get in the way.

The ESPN.com mock draft posted this morning has him at 8. Weak draft everyone....

weak draft...coupled with raw potential and a physical style of play.

will be interesting to see if he plays PG in the nba or SG...like a ben gordon type. but he better improve his outside game to be a SG.

This is why I hate the DOK, they write an article about what every OU fan is talking about and it is the most pointless article, doesnt ask Coach the important questions, doesnt cover enough info. Regardless, here ya go...

"I don’t really play for the fans..." Willie Warren

He definitely does not play for the "team" or for Capel, so who does he play for? Willie Warren

I missed that part of the article.
If we were winning it would be because Willie is passionate. We are losing so it is because Willie is...passionate.

Contrast WW comments with those of footballer Ryan Broyles who played at a very high level throughout the season...

"I like to see the expressions on people's faces," he said. "People want to be entertained. I try to be electric and make them jump up and down."

Even with his attitude issues, WW's presence can positively impact the team. TMG makes a great point...
"Even if he's not scoring, his presence on the floor is felt just because of the threat he is," OU point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin said. "All the players on the other team are keyed into him. The attention he draws makes it easier for everybody else."

maybe fans shouldnt have cheered but capel should have sat him sooner he had turned the ball over 3 times in a row & OSU scored everytime he turned it over. he had 7 in that game himself. i wish he would be the player everyone knows he can be.
