Ill take the points and the Colts!

After watching what the Vikings offense could do, and the Saints offense couldnt....Colts are going to win.

Vikings #6 defense in the NFL, Colts #18

Saints #1 offense, Colts #9

Ill take the Saints 30-27

Peyton Manning #1 QB in big games...

Colts 24-17

explain, before this year he has never really played that well in big games including his SB win where he was 25/38 with a TD and a INT. Not bad but certainly not great

He is now 8-8 in the playoffs. Obviously a great QB but to say he is the best big game QB is not accurate

it use to be Brady... I'll take Big Ben now.. if its the playoffs too

stoops the eternal pimp

I doubt the colts will turn the ball over enough to keep the saints in it

Collier11
1/24/2010, 11:47 PM
Well, To be quite honest Brady is 15-4 in the playoffs with a 3-1 SB record, 2 SB MVPs and 28 tds with 15 ints

I dont think either D will stop the other, therefore it will come down to turnovers or a 41-38 game

yep good stuff

Collier11

If Manning wins this SB it gets alot closer but I think Brady is far and away the best big game QB playing today

JLEW1818
1/24/2010, 11:53 PM
through 3 super bowl wins, he was undefeated as a starting qb in the playoffs

Collier11
1/24/2010, 11:54 PM
well he certainly didnt cost his team the last SB, in fact he did lead them on the game winning drive til David Tyree happened

JLEW1818
1/24/2010, 11:56 PM
and the one before that he was up how many points to the colts??

damn he could have 5 easily

Collier11
1/24/2010, 11:57 PM
Yep, the D failed him in an AFC title game (they would have throttled the Bears) and in the final minutes of a SB

My statement was/is not based on stats...just the simple fact that he is the man I would want taking snaps for my team in this game.

Collier11

Brady has what would have been 4 game winning SB drives if his D hadnt failed him in the last one, Manning is great but id still take Brady in a game winning situation any day of the week

my question is how good were those New England Patriot Defenses?

Collier11
1/25/2010, 12:23 AM
Good enough to win 3 SBs

JLEW1818
1/25/2010, 12:24 AM
yep, they were the one team that could destroy Manning

if i was the saints, I'd watch those films... :D

Collier11
1/25/2010, 12:28 AM
Manning is unreal in his knowledge, the thing that the Saints have to figure out how to do which is nearly impossible is to confuse him. If they can find some blitzes and coverages that somehow he isnt ready for, they will have success.

That is much much harder than it would seem though

The one thing you can guarantee is that the Saints will try to put a hat on Peyton as often as possible. Warner and Favre took some serious hits over the last two weeks.

JLEW1818

now remember this...

The saints D just gave up 475 yards of total offense AT HOME.

Peyton Manning will destroy this defense, and not turn the ball over.
