Anyone have any suggestions? Steakhouses, not Fogo De Chai type places. I am leaning toward Nick and Sam's as of now. If you have a suggestion, please let me know your opinion on Cattleman's, too. That will help with the judging process. TIA.

Lawry's: The Prime Rib (http://www.lawrysonline.com/theprimerib_dallas_gen_info.asp) - Absolutely love it. One of my very favorite meals. I prefer the English cut, which is three thin slices as opposed to the thick cut of prime rib.

III Forks (http://www.iiiforks.com/) - Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice.

I ate at Del Frisco's in Ft. Worth once and it was pretty good. I've also eaten at III Forks in Dallas and it's good, but like all these places pricey as hell.

Lawry's you can never go wrong with.

Also for $40-45 a person in Addison is Texas de Brazil Brazilian Steakhouse. You get your moneys worth. It's more of a variety of meats than just beef. It's the ultimate win!!!

I ate at Cattlemen's a couple of years ago, got the chicken fry, it was damn tasty but I can't tell you a thing about their steaks, though. I've eaten at Nick & Sam's, Ruth's Chris, and Bob's in Dallas and they were all downright awesome... especially since a Forlornhorn was paying off losing OU/TX bets with me at the time. Perhaps that's why it was so delicious. :D

if you are trying to show off to a date, there is a place called U R Cooks that has huge grills all around, and lets u cook your own. ive never had ruths chris, but ive heard its outrageously priced, so it must be ok.

Ruth's Chris isn't THAT bad, i mean it's not Chili's, but my steak was $30 and totally worth it. sides are al a carte from there

Come to Vegas instead and enjoy some tasty food at Billy Bob's at Sam's Town. Fantastic food and while pricy you won't leave bitchingthat you are still hungry or that it didn't taste good.

Hell, I ordered their stuffed shrimp on my birthday a few years back before I was suddenly allergic and couldn't even finish it all...and there were only 4! Granted the shrimp were misnamed as they were the size of a small elephant.

They have an excellent variety of steaks and meat dishes as well. And honestly, my pricy comment was off-base a bit compared to other 4 star steakhouses as you can feed a person for anywhere from 35-100 bucks, which makes for a nice range.

So next time any of you are in Vegas stop and pick me up and I'll be glad to let you buy me dinner.
