OK, so what is your interpretation of this? To me it looks like we just got two really good wins and only two of the losses look really bad (SD and Houston).

I think by the end of the season Utah will be viewed as a quality win. It was a road win which is very rare of late.

Utah already has 8 losses though, some against the likes of Seattle, Idaho and Pepperdine.

KSU,Bay and A&M would all have to be considered quality wins I would think. I would think that would give us a reasonable chance.

Now getting to 9-7 might be another story.

From what I've seen of this team out of the LNC, I'm not sure if we can win a road game. Colorado and Nebraska are probably about the same as Tech and A&M and we didn't win those. We could win one of those 2. 8 wins would be amazing for this team to get.

I think we have a better chance of beating OSU and losing to KSU. That still makes us 8-8. If we could beat OSU and KSU and everything else plays out, we are 9-7. Would be nice to win 1-2 games in the conf tourney.

I gotta feeling we won't be better than 8-8.

Effort aside, which was probably just the icing on the cake. We just lost what was probably our most winnable road game @NEB. At this point I just don't see enough wins to realistically be thinking NCAA tourney. That's not to say I won't still hope against reason but I think we have NIT stamped on this team.

My expectations at this point are lower. NCAA tourney is not realistic at this point. I'd like us to show more effort, play the players to do it and do whatever it takes to put us in the best position to bounce back with a strong season next year which I think is quite possible. Specifically we need Tiny Gallon to buy in. I think all our problems are fixable but I think it is going to take more time than we have left this year to fix them.
