Oklahoma has probably the most special coaching legacy of any program in the nation.

With Pete Carroll going to the NFL becoming official he ended at USC with 97 wins. 3 more wins and USC would have joined the club with only OU with 4 100 win coaches at their school.

Bennie Owen 122-54-16
Bud Wilkinson 146-29-4
Barry Switzer 157-29-4
Bob Stoops 117-29 and counting

There's a few schools that have 100 win coaches. Tennessee and Georgia Tech have 3 but nobody is really even close to 4 now. It might be something we'll always have the record for most likely.

Wow, really makes you understand how good Bud and Barry were at the 29 loss mark...
Bud Wilkinson 146-29-4 29 more wins than stoops
Barry Switzer 157-29-4 40 more wins than stoops
Bob Stoops 117-29 and counting

Not taking anything away from Stoops, just giving tremendous credit to Bud and Barry.
