Talk about weight loss, poor woman has a bad gallbladder.
started having problems a couple of months ago. Had a bad attached Dec 13 and we ended up in the emergency room.

Anyway found out it was the gallbladder but couldn't get in for surgery until tomorrow.

She hasn't had a full meal in well over a month. She has lost over 12 lbs. She weak and tired.

On top of that she decided to quit smoking.

She is starting to get a little bitchy

But anyway, any good thoughts you could throw her way would be appreciated.

Good luck to her. I had mine out two years ago. The surgery was a piece of cake and I feel a million times better since it was removed.

My mom got hers out years ago, and it was like a miracle cure. Prayers from this one, and good luck with the bitchiness! I'm sure everything will be fine.

I'm glad they were able to determine the cause.

My wife had issues with her's 10 years ago, then they went away for 7 years. Flared up again and she wound up in the hospital twice.

On the second visit, she was a 10 on the pain scale, but ER doc tried to discharge her because tests couldn't find anything wrong.

Her mom, who is also an RN, called the front desk, ripped the doc a new one and convinced her to admit her and call her gastroenterologist who made the call to get the damn thing.

Hasn't had a problem since.

that'll be a relief, for sure..I had that done a few years ago. Actually lost 30 pounds after I had it out.

Well she survived , it took a while to get her released, she was having some pain and the Darvocet they gave her wasnt doing any good. So they gave her a shot of Dilaudid. Nurse said it was the good stuff. It must have been, she wasnt feeling any pain after that.

Than we had to wait for her to pee, took a couple of hours, 2 IV's and 4 large glasses of water.

Anyway she home,
