I don't agree with Florida 2008.

3) Florida 2008

This was the team that cemented all-time status for Tim Tebow. Florida probably could have won a championship even without 'The Guarantee' speech Tim Tebow delivered after the Ole Miss loss, but I have no doubt that helped propel these Gators from just another championship team to one of the era's finest. Instead of playing close to the vest NFL football and winning games safely in the model of Ohio State 2002 or Alabama 2009, these Gators ripped off 10 straight wins in completely dominant fashion, edging conference foes in a very competitive year in the SEC (plus The Citadel and Florida State) during the run by an average score of 47 to 13. The BCS championship game was competitive thanks to the presence of an Oklahoma squad that certainly could have been high up on this list but the Gators prevailed by two touchdowns and cemented their place among the best teams of the 2000's.

They should add that FSU never scored as the Safety was a long snap out the back of the end zone when OU was forced to kick near their own goal line.

I guess that takes up too much print space, doesn't it.

I have no problem with Florida 2008, but Ohio State needed a gift from the refs in 2002. Should be much lower.

The article is crap IMO. Considering it was written by a USC fan overall it's nothing more than trojan fluff piece.

Oh and WTF is with this at the end of the 2008 bellydraggers section:

..."but the Gators prevailed by two touchdowns and cemented their place among the best teams of the 2000's."

When did 10 points become two touchdowns?

Oklahoma 2000 always found a way to win so I think they should be top 3 at least. :)

2005 Texas got screwed. No way in hell 2008 Florida beats them. 2008 Florida would not have scored 24 on the OU 2000 defense either. 01 Miami, 04 SUC, and 05 Texas are fairly interchangeable IMO. Even the 01 Miami nearly got beat by Va. Tech. I just thought it was funny that LSU came up #9 and #10, lol.

Yes, that often happens when people post links to crappy, amateur blogs run by fans.

1) OU 2008
All other teams in 9 way tie for second as they are irrelevant.
