Well, in OUr defense, in 2000 it WAS called the Sears National Championship Trophy. lol :D

This is where I'm supposed to insert snark, I believe, but, honestly, can you think of a more fitting place for the BCS trophy to be displayed? Cause I got nothing -- it's perfectly resemblant of Alabama, obviously (and no, I don't mean in that "working man" kind of way -- I mean in the embarrassing white trash sort, thanks for asking) and perhaps even more ideal for the BCS, a cheap, knock-off of a system that has been enveloping the country like a mass-producing corporate behemoth for years, with no signs of slowing down.

Just to keep you posted. There was a contract between Dr. Pepper and Walmart that whoever won would display the trophy at Walmart. Walmart payed a very high price for this. Texas would have had to do the same thing if they had won. I personally don't care it were displayed at Taco Bell as long as we won it. Like Texas can act like they are better than Walmart, give me a break.
