yeah the whornston sports anchor said that saben "should have showed some class and take a knee."

honestly that would have been the classy thing to do, but since it was against the Horns. I'm fine with it! :D

They should be much more upset that Mack didn't take a knee just before halftime. Dumba$$ move by the brilliant Mack Brown.

Wait. The Horns used the "class" word?

I heard that as well, I guess most media hacks are uncompetitive morons who never played anything.

It's not like they were passing for Christ's sake. And they DID take a knee on their last possession.

A whorn would have taken both knees.....heh

Pretty expected reaction as far as I'm concerned. They did/said the same thing when Chris Brown ran that handoff in vs. OSU last year. Here's a thought: If you don't want them to score, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Only up by 10 with a "high powered offense", I would have taken it to the house one more time too. Why play with fire when you can extinguish it after they fumble the ball. Whorn fans, national champions of whinning since 1865.

Well, they certainly are full of it. "It" not being class, of course.

The Bammers took a knee the entire 3rd quarter, running the Prevent Offense.

If you don't like people running the score up on you, play better defense.

I'm a 'No quarter asked, no quarter given' kinda guy.

Besides, the cows had proven they could move the ball through the air, their FG kicker isn't too shabby, and they'd made a 2 pt conversion and recovered an onside kick already--all of a sudden that 10 point lead with $400k on the line would look pretty small to me too :)

I wish a cow fan would explain to me what ****ing difference it makes that Bama scored with 1.30 left in the game. Is it going to make cow feel any less *** hurt? What, is texas now the 1986 Kansas State Wildcats? Are they totally unable to defend themselves? With 1.30 left in the game texas still had 85 scholarship players and they are all like 7* recruits. Besides, you ain't had it run up on ya till somebody scores 65........oh wait.

I can tell you the number of times they've taken a knee with us when blowing our *** into next year.

You want to know how many? Never that I can remember.

All I got to say for Texas and its fans is: how does it feel to lose your starting QB?? Huh?? I actually saw a whorn fan whining on facebook about how this is a "hollow" victory for Bama.

Yeah, whatever...and I suppose the Red River Shootout was a hollow victory for Texas.

That being said, I think Colt McCoy is a classy kid and I hope his shoulder heals up. He may have a decent pro career and then do something good with his life. He is an excellent ambassador for college football, and it is not at all surprising that he and Bradford are good friends.

Don't see how they can cry about Saban running it up when he went to the kevin-wilson-on-the-road-vanilla-offense for more than half the game. If Saban would have kept the petal to the metal, Texass would have got beat by 50. They should thank Saban for allowing them back in the damn game.

To have taken a knee would have been the ultimate insult....I kinda wish Alabama had done it too.

I live in Texas and of course am livin' it up right now listening to the pitiful horn fans scramble for answers. But seriously this is RIDICULOUS. I have never seen people cry and whine as much as they are. I offered the QB explanation that was posted here you know if SB had of been available at the RRS we would have won anyway since they only beat us by 3. And OH thats just STUPID. I wished the rest of Sooner Land could hear this.

To have taken a knee would have been the ultimate insult....I kinda wish Alabama had done it too. But, a 16 pt. win looks more impressive -an exclamation point. Plus, it's better than the 10 pt. win the FU got on us last yr. Poor cows, and their "hollow" defeat...

The fact that saxeT had a timeout left meant that Bama had to go forward rather than backward.

It's not Bama's fault that, at 1st and goal from the 6yd line, getting a first down also meant getting a touchdown.

I love how Texas is talking about karma being a bitch. Those people will never learn. Karma smacks them in the face last night and they don't even realize it. They wonder why everyone outside the state of Texas hates them too.
