I read an article in the Oklahoman at the beginning of the season. They said that he is writing all of his comments beforehand, and reading them off a prompter because he can't think about what he is going to say, and get it out without stopping a whole lot. they said that every once in a while, he slurs, but is getting better (apparently, he still does when he gets worked up).

I guess they still think he can string a thought together since he can write them out, but in a business where you have to speak clearly, I think it's time for him to hang it up.
