Blake played two series and played really well. He threw two perfect deep balls that could have been caught but the receivers couldn't quite corral them due to the coverage. The DBs had 0 chance to catch either of them, though, so good throws.

He certainly is a run/pass threat. But the problem with these games is they have limited snaps for each player and from the sounds of it I guess he had his limited snaps and they must not have had any designed run plays for him.

When he gets to Norman, I'm sure the coaches (Josh in particular) will fine tune his deep passes so they are the way they like to see D1 deep balls thrown. After all that's why they make the big money :D

Think about that for a second, our top wr recruit is one of the top linebackers in the nation....sometimes we have to be grateful for what we have. D. White is a baller, but we will be okay.

What's funny is we are absolutely loaded at the safety position, which may offset the wr talent Texas has coming in next year. Make no mistake D.Cobbs, Mike Davis, and Darius White have the potential to be a force for the longhorns. Just as Jefferson, Wort, Brent, Lynn, Hurst, Lewis, D. King, McFarland, Ibiloye, and a host of others have the potential to give stoops a great run of powerful defenses. I hate to say this, but stoops seems to be recruiting hardworking monsters on the defensive side of the ball, and Mack Brown is recruiting guys who are loudmouthed, brash, and cocky.....I will always go with the hardworkers.
