Yas, I do have one. Something tells me the whorns will play their best game against the Red Elephant. Also, I am not convinced that the Pachyderms have a full team's worth of talent yet, and won't for at least another year. 24-14 whorns win.

Me thinks that feeling is because you been playing that tebow drinking game too long. You should have quit after the first qrt. Take some asprin, drink some water. You'll be OK:D

I've said all season - the planets have aligned for the horns. The end of CCG proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. But beyond "luck", I think people are putting too much stock on the SEC CCG. I figure Saban spent time on that game *all year* and had it planned to near perfection. Probably even designed some aspects of his schemes just beat UF. Not so with the horns. I expect a tense, low scoring game. If it comes down to the refs, who do you think wins?

I am sooooo torn.

On the one hand, I would really like to have the year free of "SEC RULES" amongst all the people I know and deal with down here. It would be nice to be able to say..........<cough>Big XII MMC over sec<cough>

On the other hand................WHY Texas!........ANYBODY but TEXAS!

This plus :mack: would have two MNC's to Bob's one. I just can't stand the though of that.

After the last saxet MNC, I think that Alabama getting another would be easier to stomach.

if you lived in Texas, you would never, EVER cheer for or hope for Texas to win again.

my main consolation is that I think Saban is 10 times the coach Mack is, so I would assume that will give them a leg up and help break the lucky streak the whorns have had all year

Your gonna have to hear SEC no matter what. That arrogance is just who they are. Bama is atleast the best of the sec as far as fan's. I will root for them

right 'cause if bama loses there will be countless excuses as to why it lost and the typical sec fan will somehow fabricate a victory out of it ... the arrogance is probably because they really dont have that much else to be proud of other than college football and a low cost of living

as long as the continue winning natl titles we really cant argue, unfortunately id rather listen to the SEC chants for another yr than to hear some stupid f*cking ut fan tell me how they dont lose bcs games and now have more natl titles than Stoops

I guess when that's the most important and relevant thing going on in that part of the country winning natl titles is the best thing they can hope for

Should be a good game... linebacker McClain will have the middle plugged... who's covering Shipley?

Tre Newton is back at running back... stifling defense will force McCoy to throw.

How will McElroy do against Earl Thomas in the secondary.

Should be an interesting game.... I'm not sure if it will be close... but it will be interesting.

Tell me why we should hate Bama more than Texas and I'll tell you why you should check into the nearest mental institution.

You are wrong.

Whereas, I knew bammer would be in this game about 10 weeks ago, they have the most complete team in the country & a lot of this is because this is a down year (overall) in cfb. texas has had difficulties with inferior teams this year. The ONLY way that the whorns win this one is if bammer doesn't show or they lay an egg. Maybe the whorns luck can cause that to happen, but I doubt it.

I realize this post is horrible, but I am still feeling the pain from being overserved the past couple of nights.

bammer - 27
UTerus - 17

If Texas wins, I believe it spurs Stoops into really getting after it.

Bama is much closer to having a complete Team than the whorns.

If you didn't see what Nebraska did to the Greatest Team on Earth  , You should go recheck your dvr and re-watch that game.

45-17 Bama

I hope your ominous feeling is erroneous but I share it as well. I really hope the Tide pound the whorns though.

I think Bama will beat Tejas. The Texas offense consists of slants, passes to Shipley, McCoy scrambling, or HB misdirection plays. They can be stopped. Bama really impressed me with how they contained Florida. Tebow is a scrambler and they held him in check. Florida has better receivers than Texas (I think) and Bama held them in check. OU and Nebraska both could have won (I think) had our offenses clicked when they should have. We didn't find our offensive stride (I think) until the Standford game and the Nebraska defense has been winning their games. Bama will be unlike any team that Texas has played this year. Bama, unlike OU and Nebraska, has an offense with great receivers, a great O-line, at least 2 great RB's, a great TE, and a QB who fits perfectly into their system. The Muschamp D allowed A&M to put up a ton of yards on the Texas D. I think Bama and their playaction/power running game will punch Texas in the gut. Bama will use playaction against an agressive Texas D and then of course they have Ingram to power his way up the middle. The manner in Bama's win over Florida has me believing all of this...

There is no great team this year after having several last year. It should be like the Oscars that decided if no song merits accolades the category should not be included in the awards. Maybe the Sporns could put an asterisk beside its championship if it wins this year.

Alabama only won due to field goals, even over mediocre Tennessee. Texas deserved to have been beaten by 20 points in Dallas twice this year. If Bradford and Gresham had been healthy the Sooners would have beaten them by 30. Texas should have beaten injury hobbled Oklahoma by 20 but could only win by 3. We played three teams that looked better than Texas did.

I'm hoping for a repeat of the 1996 Fiesta Bowl just switch the conference of the winner.
