Hey guys,

I'm curious why the new guys (Lewis and Wort) were played in the bowl game. Had they played in previous games? Does playing in a bowl count against a red-shirt if a player had not lost red shirt thru the regular season.

IM pretty sure wort did not play but did dress and lewis is the heir apparent to one of the LB spots so they were getting him some quality reps, plusz he knocks the living hell out of people!

OUr 2-deep at LB next year is going to be nasty (Wort, Lewis x 2, Box, Ibiloye, and Byrd).

From Stoop's comments, he implied that R. Lewis played as part of the game plan. Stanford uses lots of heavy formations and Lewis gives us more size and strength to take on blockers. It was a great preview for us fans - he puts the 'x' back in explosive.

Yeah, they shifted Keenan Clayton to safety and moved Lewis to his spot for running plays.
