Well, two actually. A game won against a ranked opponent outside the State of Oklahoma AND a game won by less than 7 points-both areas in which OU has struggled of late.

Agreed, and better yet, Landry Jones showed he can win outside of Owen Field against a strong opponent. Your point about winning a close game is right on point. I thought of that recently. When we win against good or not so good teams, we typically win comfortably. But it recent years, we just can't seem to win tight games - Florida, Texas redux, Miami, BYU, Nebulard, Boise St., etc. Not sure why, but maybe the Stanford win will change the tide. I felt our players really, really wanted it. Maybe that's the attitude the team needs more of in big games.

There are some teams that have never won a bowl game. I'm not sure that's the comparison the winningest program in the modern era wants to make.
