Dude, it's all about Gerald Myers. Myers and the chair throwing abuser are big buddies from days gone by. It was a coop by Gerald to land Bobby.

On the other hand, Leach is not a suck up and publically embarrassed Myers earlier this year in the dispute about Mike's contract extension. Gerald has been biding his time waiting for the opportunity to can Mike. Along comes a prima dona with a big named daddy that likes pimpin' coaches to get PT for his baby. And there you have it.

Remember, GM's a big man in the Hub City. Be thankful every day that Joe C. runs the athletic programs in Norman.

Didn't mean to infer that Bobby is a suck up, just that Mike is not. Gerald cannot tolerate the level of success Leach has had because he is not a good ol' boy.

Remember, GM is TTU's all time winningest b-ball coach averaging just 16 wins per season. Gerald would love to have another Spike - a good ol' W-Tex boy that has mediocre success and occassionally upsets UT.
