I was watching the Sportscenter highlights of the Thunder-Wizards game, and I noticed that Neil Everett made the point of never refering to the Thunder by name or even by Oklahoma City. For the entire segment, he refered to the team as "Durant's club."
However, I did notice a couple of references to the team's Seattle origins. When Everett opened the segment, he introduced it with "Durant's club in Washington, not Washington state, which the club used to call its home..." He also called a Durant dunk in a clip a Sonic boom.
I guess my question would be why all the Seattle-love/OKC-hate from Everett?
